After decades of ministry across France and North Africa, Benoit and Marci now serve in Spain, where they founded The Strawberry Girls, an anti-trafficking ministry for Moroccan women.

What they do
Benoit, who is French, and Marci served as a pastoral couple in an international church in Paris, then in North Africa, then across France, where they established the Oasis of Cultures community center. Since 2019 they have been in Spain, where they created the nonprofit Tierra Majrit and founded The Strawberry Girls, an anti-trafficking ministry focused on Moroccan women who migrate to Spain seeking opportunity and instead face exploitation. They have five children, and Marci has served as a global coordinator for orality and storytelling.

The Strawberry Girls won the Stop the Traffik Award in the Lived Experience category in 2025, has published books and advocacy materials, and works with more than ten partner organizations and Madrid schools.
